Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ideal group size?

We work with groups that are anywhere from four to 250 people. We normally subdivide into smaller groups of 15-20 people.

What is the age limit?

ExCEL participants need to be age 13 and older. Especially for the high ropes course. The ExCEL program is suited for youth 8th grade and up and adults of all ages.

Is your zip line open to the public?

Our zip line is part of our team building and leadership program. Groups must book an ExCEL program in order to do our zip line.

What is the weight limit for your zip line?

265 lbs.

What if some team members are not the most physically fit or have physical limitations?

We can tailor our programs appropriate for your team's level of fitness. During the planning phase of your team building program we take into account limitations of the team members and plan accordingly. If physical limitations are unknown until the program starts, our trained facilitators will do their best to modify and work with the limitation.

How much lead time do you need to book an event?

We prefer at least one-month lead time, but we have been known to facilitate a program the day after we received the initial request. Give us a call or send an email and we will do our best to meet your specific needs.

How much time is needed for the ExCEL Program?

The amount of time needed for the program is dependent upon the type of event and the number of participants. Most events start at 2 hours in length and then vary depending on the focus, needs, and goals of the program. Our most popular event is our full day (8 hours) event.

How much time is needed for the high challenge course?

Our high ropes course is part of our full day experience. It is usually done in the afternoon and takes at least three hours for a group of 20 participants to complete.

Do most of your programs take place outside?

Yes, most of our programs are outdoors. However, team building events can be designed for an outdoor or indoor venue. Fixed challenge course elements are outside.

How should I dress?

Dress so you can be physically active and comfortable. We highly recommend wearing closed toed shoes during our team building programs. Closed toed shoes are required at our high challenge elements such as the high ropes course, climbing tower, and Giant’s Ladder.

What do you do in case of inclement weather?

Many of our groups choose to do the event despite the weather. Most of our team building challenges can be altered for indoors. As long as the weather is not dangerous, we give groups the option to continue with the program as planned. However, if rescheduling is the only option, your deposit is good for six months after the original program date.

What is the investment cost?

The investment is dependent upon the number of participants and the logistics of each program. Contact us to discuss your exact needs.
