Cloverbuds
It is never too early to learn about veterinary medicine!
Following the "learn by doing" teaching philosophy of 4-H, Cloverbuds (ages 5-8) are introduced to veterinary medicine through fun activities and a specialized age-appropriate curriculum.
The 4-H Mall has specific material for grades 3-5 (level I), grades 6-8 (level 2) and grades 9-12 (level 3). Generally speaking, the curriculum will be tailor-made to the individual student. However, group activities will involve all age groups. Below are some examples of group activities available to county groups:
- Tour of the Little Rock Zoo in Little Rock
- Tour of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs
- Tour of University of Arkansas Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Fayetteville
