SEEK High School Curriculum - Ecology

Class will meet on Fridays in 2022 - 2023

Note: This course does not rotate curriculum. A student only needs to take it once.

What is Ecology? 

Ecology is the study of the relationships between living organisms, including humans, and their physical environment. 

What will students study?

Students will study Arkansas wildlife, birding, orienteering and mapping skills, forestry, fish, geology, water quality, insects, and more!

Several guest speakers will present on their field of study. 

What about team building?

Students will also work on developing team skill through initiatives, and the low/high ropes course. 

Be Prepared! 

Each day we will spend time outside in the elements, so make sure you are wearing appropriate clothes.
