Payments
If a family is paying by credit card, debit card, or e-check, they can pay online in the system. If a family is paying by cash or check at the county office or the county is paying a portion of the registration amount, the county will apply an adjustment. The adjustment communicates to the 4-H Department that the money for this event is to be collected from the county depository with an Internal Service Delivery (initiated by the 4-H Department).
Reminder that our policy states that any registration amount that is left unpaid by a 4-H member one week after the event registration deadline will be pulled from the county depository. It will be up to the county to collect cash or check payments from members.
If an individual cannot attend an event in which they have registered, the participant must notify their county Extension office of cancellation in writing, who will in turn notify the state 4-H Youth Development Office. The county Extension office is responsible for notifying, in writing (letter or e-mail), the appropriate faculty or support staff member within the 4-H Department regarding cancellation(s).
